BUSH DAVIS
This treasured letter was written to us by Adam Leslie Arthur Davis (Bush) which was one of No Limitts’s first Clients and is family to us. Unfortunately Bush passed away in April this year.
Bush became a massive part of our company and a strong advocate for the No Limitts way of doing things. We had a Bush Bogan Trivia night which Bush helped us organise and MC. This event raised the most amount of money to date. We will be having an annual Bush Bash and remember Bush while taking the to chance to let our hair down.
I am a client in No Limitts, my name is Adam Leslie Arthur Davis and this company is unreal! When I signed over with them, within the first 2 months, No Limitts helped me go home and see my mother in NSW. It had been 11 years since I had last seen her which meant a lot to me. Everyone from No Limitts have been like family, it's been so awesome to be a part of this company and watch it grow and grow. No Limitts do the best job in the world! Since I have been with the company, they have got me back on a boat to go fishing which has been years since I last did that. I have gone fishing more since joining No Limitts than in the last 11 years, that's awesome!
A support worker named Dodie connected me with wheelchair rugby which is something I do every week, at first it was a struggle but with support each week I get better and better.
No Limitts have set up a fundraising group with other clients along with myself and altogether we meet up once a week to share ideas of how we can fundraise. I enjoy coming up with ideas and sharing them as well as being part of a group.
No Limitts have employed me to help train new support workers. This has been very empowering and unreal as it gives me control over my own life and the ability to teach my support works how to best assist me in a way that I feel like an individual. I get paid for this which is a bonus but honestly, I enjoy it so much, I would do it for free. No Limitts truly help me live a life of independence.
No Limitts allow me to interview new candidates which makes me feel in charge. I also get to work with support workers with similar interests to me so it feels like I'm hanging out with a mate.
No Limitts has boosted my confidence by letting me be in charge! It's awesome.
I have no family here but No Limitts make me feel part of one big happy family.
There is not much more I can say about No Limits but that I would do anything for anyone from No Limitts because they have done so much for me.
